In this course, you will discover how to become a pet detective, recognizing urgent symptoms and
knowing what to watch for, while also learning to effectively handle emergency situations related
to common first aid issues such as burns, heat stress, bloat, and Cardiopulmonary Arrest. By
the end of the course, you’ll possess the skills and knowledge to confidently assess various
scenarios and provide immediate care to distressed pets. Our instructors will
lead you through hands-on practice sessions, ensuring you gain practical experience in
administering first aid.
We will also explore preventive measures to reduce risks and promote your pet’s overall
well-being. Whether you’re a pet owner aiming to improve your caregiving skills or someone
considering a career in animal care, this class provides invaluable insights and training.
Furthermore, you will have access to resources and materials for future reference, ensuring you
are always ready to respond swiftly and effectively in emergencies. Join us to make a

The fee includes instruction, a comprehensive coursebook, and a two-year certification.

The deadline to register is Saturday, February 22, 2025.
Class size is limited to 12 students.
The class will take place from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). Please enter
the virtual waiting room 5 to 10 minutes early, as we will begin promptly as scheduled.
Class Materials: As this is a live, interactive session, you will need a tablet, laptop, or desktop
computer with a reliable internet connection. Participants must have access to a web camera
and microphone to fully engage and earn credit for the certification.
Additionally, please bring a large beach towel, a 6-foot nylon leash, an open-top pet carrier or
box, tongue depressors, gauze pads, and gauze rolls. Your well-behaved furry pals are totally
welcome to join in on the action for demos and practice!
